I ordered take out with oxtails, jerk chicken, jollof rice and cabbage. Everything was fantastic. Large portions and delicious food with great customer service. I will definitely be returning.

Once again, Ocean Blui Grill delivered quality food and large portions. I've ordered from them for 6 years now. I will take time to claim they are the best Jamaican food I've had in my life. This unsuspecting mall location happens to be the best. Low key. Customer service is good and beats the other local Jamaican spots that serve inconsistent portions, sometimes rude, and have a franchise mentality. Ocean Blui Grill has flavor, portions size, and sauce. Look at my photo. What other restaurants still sells Ox Tails this big for this low price? Ocean Blui is undiscovered GOLD! Thank you.

Food was really good & authentic! I ordered the premium platter with oxtails and curry chicken, rice & peas, and cabbage. The portions were really worth the cost, but the flavors took it well over the top. I went back for a second plate to enjoy later in the week & to share. The spinach and beef patties were also really flavorful.

My favorite jerk spot, I’ve been going here with my mom since they’ve opened in the mall. The spicy jerk wings are my favorite and don’t forget the spicy jerk sauce on the side! Please take yourself to Waldorf and go to Ocean Blui Grill in the food court of the mall! I have eaten here 4 times now and it has been slammin every single time! Authentic Island cuisine cooked and seasoned to perfection!! The service is on par. They are friendly and pleasant! (Excuse my picture cause I had already started eating before I remembered to take a picture) I got the dinner plate of Spicy Jerk Wings with cabbage, rice and peas and a side of plantain. Then the spicy jerk sauce/ gravy on the side! Bbaaabbbyyyy!! My husband got the 2 meat dinner plate with jerk shrimp and jerk chicken wings with jollof rice and seasoned fries. Now, when they tell u that jollof rice is SPICY take them serious! I tried some of his rice and just bout choked! Don’t play wit it! He said everything taste great and the shrimp were a good size but he wish there was more shrimp! So so so good and I still got some leftover for later! I will definitely keep making the 45 min trip when I need my Jamaican food as long as they’re there and the food keeps fooding.

I'm changing my rating scale. I normally only rate something 5 stars if it has great food, great service, and great ambiance. So under the old scale, I couldn't rate this really high because, hey, it's in a mall food court, so the ambience is, well, mallish. That and this is somewhat similar to homecooked food, not "restaurant fare." And there's definitely no servers. But I had to rate this as high as I did because compared with mall food in general and even with a homecooked ethnic food restaurant, this one was what one could only dream mall food could be. Now people who appreciate Jamaican food may not agree with me, because Ocean Blui does have food that's not too hot for chili wimps such as myself. The order taker, a lovely young lady, was very helpful, recommending dishes which were not too spicy. I got the lunch special with curry chicken, which had some carrot, rice and peas (which are beans, not peas), and cabbage. (At least, that's what I chose. You get two sides which you get to pick.) It also came with two plantain slices (mature, so rather sweet) and a soda / bottled water. So not only was the food delicious (and nothing too spicy to eat) but it was lunch and, later, dinner for my husband! It's a bit far from where I live, but when I'm in the mood for Jamaican, will definitely be back. [Note: I really don't do malls much. I happened to visit while charging my car. But this place is good enough that I would make a special trip!]

Authentic, amazing Caribbean cuisine!! And their portions are BEYOND "generous"... absolutely massive, great value for the price. I always either choose the succulent, fall-off-the-bone tender oxtails with its velvety gravy or the perfectly seasoned goat meat. Next time I'll try the curry salmon and curry shrimp since I am a HUGE seafood lover. Whatever you choose you can't go wrong here!

Second time ordering from this establishment. The food is very good. Today I ordered the 2 meat platter with curry chicken and jerk chicken. Food was seasoned well. The jerk chicken didn’t have as much jerk sauce as my past orders but was still good. The curry chicken patty was good and had a little “kick” to it. Definitely my go to spot.
